Hey Everyone! I’m Hanna Peterson from Valleyview Alberta / Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation. I am a very outgoing person who has many hobbies and interests. I particiapate in many school sports. Gymanstics, volleyball, curling, and track & field are my favorite things to do so far. I love to hangout with my family and friends.
I take school studies seriously and aspire to be in the law or medical field after gradutaing high school in 2013. I am currently in grade 10 at Hillside JR/SR High School. The courses I excel in are math, phys. ed and english.
Living in a small town has its challenges, especially in Valleyview. It is very diffuclt to advance in the modelling and acting industry. This is one of the many reasons I chose to enter the Miss Teen Canada- World pageant. I have little modelling experience, although i hope to gain experience at the Miss Teen Canada-World Pageant. With this chance of a life time, I hope to make a difference in my community. The information, experience and skills attained through this amazing opportunity I will share with my peers back home at the Sturgeon Lake Youth Confrence scheduled for July 25-29, 2011.
My biggest role model is my mom. I know for a fact its not easy being a single parent of 4 and having to support us all on her own for the past year. She is a strong independent woman who can handle any task. I know this because she is the person I look up for anything. People tend to say they look up to the most famous person in the fashion, music, acting industries, or the person who is on every headline. I don’t.
We have gone through many challenges in our life but we all have managed to get over them with her as our support. I really believe i couldn’t have became Miss Teen Northwest Alberta and got this chance of a life with out her.
I hope you learned a little more about me and I thank you for helping me to the top!
